Compliance / Workplace Heath & Safety

Safety is at the heart of our operations. We believe a safe workplace is a productive workplace and it’s one of the most important ways we demonstrate care.

Our WH&S systems go beyond compliance. We focus on prevention, training, and continuous improvement to create an environment where everyone goes home safely, every day.

From fleet maintenance to on-site safety protocols and regular staff training, we maintain the highest industry standards because the wellbeing of our people, partners, and community comes first.

We care about every journey including the one home.

Through strong leadership, open communication, and shared responsibility, safety becomes part of how we think, plan, and work, not just a checklist.

We promote a culture where:

  • Safety is prioritised at every level of the business
  • People are encouraged to speak up and take ownership
  • Continuous improvement is part of everyday operations

When safety is part of the culture, it becomes part of every outcome.

Our commitment includes:

  • Regular safety training and competency development
  • Clear procedures and operational guidelines
  • Ongoing risk assessments and hazard identification
  • Incident reporting, monitoring, and continuous improvement

Every team member understands their responsibilities, and every leader is accountable for maintaining a safe working environment.

We don’t just meet standards — we build systems that support safer outcomes.

Our state-of-the-art logistics facility is designed with safety in mind — from traffic management and equipment use to storage systems and workflow planning.

On the road, our drivers operate under strict compliance and fatigue management systems to ensure safe, responsible transport at all times.

Our operational safety focus includes:

  • Safe fleet management and maintenance
  • Driver training and fatigue management
  • Warehouse safety systems and equipment standards
  • Clear site protocols and compliance procedures

We plan for safety so our people can work with confidence.

How we deliver:

By aligning expectations, sharing best practices, and maintaining transparency, we create safer outcomes for everyone involved.

Because when we care about safety, we protect more than just our own team, we protect the communities we serve.

Through investment in technology, training, and infrastructure, we remain committed to creating a workplace where safety and performance go hand in hand.

At O’Brien Logistics, we care about your journey and we make sure it’s a safe one.

We care about your deadlines, and we deliver on them.
